| Welcome to Bittersweet British Shorthairs..... Hello, my name is Eve and I live in Kent surrounded by countryside. I have six British Shorthairs, one Somali, six Cocker Spaniels and two Donkeys – so as you can imagine my life is pretty busy!! My first British Shorthair was bought for me by my husband as a birthday present. She was Bumpkin Blue Blessings or ‘Queen Bea' as we now call her. Bea was mated to Ch. Bumpkin Braveheart and Izzy ‘Bittersweet Bewitched' blue/cream girl and Bennie ‘Bittersweet Benedict' were kept. Izzy was mated to Gr. Ch. Positively Llew Glas and Poppy ‘Bittersweet Bemused' another blue/cream girl stayed with us. Bea was mated to Llew and I kept my lovely typy blue girl Daisy ‘Bittersweet Moondancing'. I bought in another Bumpkin girl Tiffany ‘Bumpkin Tutti Fruiti' a dilute tortie/white who has given me some lovely bi-colour kittens. Recently I have bought in a Miletree blue boy Harvey or ‘Miletree Harvey Moon' whose breeding should compliment my girls. Although the cats have only been shown lightly both Bennie and Izzy have Best of Breeds to their credit. My aim is to breed typy cats with plush coats and good eye colour combined with a super temperament. My cats all live indoors as part of our family. I will occasionally let kittens go for show/breed but I prefer them to go as a treasured family pet and to receive lovely photos and letters saying how much they are adored makes it all worthwhile. If you wish to be owned by a Bittersweet British Shorthair kitten I shall be only too pleased to have a chat with you. I am sorry but I do not export my kittens. |
